Mambo with the Macaws - ZooGala

This vibrant gala is one of our cities most fun and energetic celebrations!  Each year, we work with the Birmingham Zoo to create a cultural and exotic experience for their guests and sponsors. The theme featured in these images was based on the animals and birds of the Caribbean.  Everything from the invitation to the type of food and cocktail entertainment were based on the tropical theme.   A driftwood bar served Lime Mojitos and the guests were greeted with fire performers and the Caribbean music of live performers. This event’s design featured large scale majestic palms, linens in bold patterns and enormous waterfall chandeliers made from Capiz Shells.  Large lounges set on artificial turf rugs created a setting inspired by a luxury island resort.  Tropical flower arrangements on bold color bamboo trimmed boxes were sprinkled throughout the tables for guest seating. Animal care takers roamed the event with exotic animals and birds giving the guests an intimate time with the creatures the fundraiser works to support.
